This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to your use of our website, the Life Unlocked Program, and any related services. By using our website or the Program, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1) What we collect
1.1 Information you provide directly.
Account and contact information — name, email address, billing address, phone number, business name, and any other details you provide at checkout, in intake forms, or inside the Program.
Sales and intake information — information you share during sales conversations, discovery calls, applications, or onboarding, including business model, revenue figures, business goals, and other context relevant to your participation.
Purchase details — product purchased, price, payment plan, transaction metadata, and billing history.
Support and community content — messages you send us, posts, comments, replies, or content you share in our community platform, office hours, or other group settings.
Testimonials, case studies, and feedback — content you voluntarily provide for our marketing or product improvement.
1.2 Information collected automatically.
Usage data — device type, browser, IP address, referring website, pages viewed, time spent, click behavior, and similar technical data.
Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6 for details.
Email engagement — opens, clicks, and unsubscribes from emails we send you.
1.3 Information from third parties.
Payment processors — billing confirmation and limited payment information (we do not receive or store full card numbers).
Authentication and integration providers — if you log in through a third party or connect another service, we may receive limited account information from that provider.
Publicly available sources — if we research a prospect or client (for example, before a sales call), we may collect publicly available business information.
1.4 What we do not collect. We do not collect social security numbers, government identification numbers, full credit card numbers, health information, biometric data, or precise geolocation data. We do not knowingly collect information from children (see Section 12).
2) How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
Deliver the Program. Process your purchase, provide access to materials and the community, deliver office hours and support, and communicate about program logistics.
Provide support. Respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, and handle account or billing matters.
Send communications. Deliver transactional emails (access, billing, program logistics), and — with your consent or as otherwise permitted — educational, marketing, and product emails.
Improve the Program. Analyze how participants engage with our content, support, and community to make the Program better. We may use anonymized or aggregated information for this purpose.
Marketing and growth. Promote the Program to prospective clients, including via email marketing, advertising, retargeting, lookalike audiences, and testimonials or case studies (testimonials and case studies are used only with the participant's consent as described in our Terms).
Maintain security and prevent fraud. Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
Enforce our Terms. Including responding to payment disputes, chargebacks, and breaches.
Comply with legal obligations. Including tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
Protect rights and safety. Of our business, our participants, and the public.
We do not use your information to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models operated by third parties. We may use anonymized or aggregated information internally to improve our own products and services.
3) Payments
We use third-party payment processors such as ThriveCart and Stripe to process payments. When you make a purchase, your payment information is collected and processed by these providers under their own privacy policies and security standards. We do not receive, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details. We receive limited transaction information (such as your name, billing address, amount, and confirmation of payment) needed to fulfill your order and maintain our records.
4) Program and community platforms
The Program and community are delivered through third-party platforms such as Circle, Zoom, and others (collectively, "Third-Party Platforms"). When you use these platforms, they collect and process your information to deliver features like videos, live calls, posts, messaging, and notifications. Each Third-Party Platform handles your data under its own privacy policy and terms of service, and we encourage you to review those policies. We may receive information from these platforms about your engagement (for example, attendance, content views, or community activity) to deliver the Program and improve it.
5) Email communications
Transactional emails. After you purchase, you will receive transactional emails about access, billing, program logistics, support responses, and other account or service matters. These emails are necessary to deliver the Program and you cannot unsubscribe from them while you remain enrolled.
Marketing and educational emails. You may also receive marketing, educational, or product emails from us. You can unsubscribe from these at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at [email protected]. Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect transactional emails.
CAN-SPAM compliance. Our marketing emails include our physical mailing address and a working unsubscribe mechanism, as required by U.S. law. We honor unsubscribe requests within ten (10) business days.
6) Cookies, analytics, and reCAPTCHA
What we use cookies for. We use cookies and similar technologies for:
Essential functions — authentication, session management, security, and core site functionality (these cannot be disabled).
Preferences — remembering your settings and preferences.
Analytics — understanding how visitors use our site so we can improve it (for example, Google Analytics).
Marketing and advertising — measuring the performance of our marketing and serving relevant ads on other websites (for example, Meta Pixel or similar tools, if used).
How to control cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site. We currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, but we honor opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law (such as the Global Privacy Control signal where required).
reCAPTCHA. Our site is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and abuse. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
7) Sharing of information
We share your information only as described in this Policy. Specifically:
Service providers who help us operate the business, including categories such as: payment processing (e.g., ThriveCart, Stripe), course and community platforms (e.g., Circle), video and meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom), email service providers, website hosting, analytics, customer support, calendar and scheduling tools, and CRM. These providers are authorized to use your information only to provide services to us.
Professional advisors such as accountants, lawyers, and consultants, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
Legal and safety disclosures when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to enforce our Terms; to investigate potential violations; or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our business, our participants, or the public.
Business transfers — if we sell, merge, restructure, or transfer all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy with respect to your information.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
8) Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the Program and our services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods include:
Active enrollment and Extended Support data — for the duration of your enrollment and any Extended Support Period.
Account and contact information — for the duration of your relationship with us, and up to seven (7) years after, to support recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and tax and accounting obligations.
Payment and transaction records — at least seven (7) years to comply with tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.
Marketing list information — until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Community content — generally retained as long as the community exists, though you may be able to delete your own posts through the community platform.
Sales and intake information — for the duration of your relationship plus a reasonable period for follow-up and recordkeeping; for non-converting prospects, typically up to two (2) years.
You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [email protected]. We will comply unless we need to retain the information for legal, regulatory, tax, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business reasons. If we cannot fully delete your information, we will explain why.
9) Security
We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include access controls, encryption in transit for sensitive data, vendor security review, and limiting access to information on a need-to-know basis.
However, no online system or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law.
10) Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including:
Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to the retention exceptions in Section 8.
Restriction or objection — ask us to limit or stop certain uses of your information.
Portability — request a copy of your information in a portable format.
Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have specific rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA. You may exercise your CCPA rights by contacting us at [email protected].
EU, UK, and other regions. If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another region with similar laws, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
How to exercise your rights. To make a request, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 30-45 days).
Automated decision-making. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
11) International transfers
Our services are operated from the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.
Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers of personal information from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other regulated regions to the United States. By using our services or providing us with information, you consent to this transfer and processing.
12) Children
Our Program is for adults and is sold to businesses. We do not direct our services to children under 18 and do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.
13) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of the Policy and, when appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice on our site. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, you should stop using our services.
14) Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, or if you want to exercise your rights described above, contact us at 📧 [email protected].
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for example, the California Attorney General's Office for California residents, or your national data protection authority in the EU).
